More specifically, moving the cursor from one monitor to the other, the first 1 or 2 clicks are ignored. If the Workspace toolbar (or its minimized "handle") is visible on that monitor, there is a highlight around it after the first click. After the second click the focus finally changes and you can interact with apps on that monitor, until you move the mouse again to another monitor and the same thing happens.

It is like Citrix suddenly started to emulate the "first click changes focus" behavior of MacOS, but sometimes even the second click is ignored and I need to click 3 times in a row before the remote Windows sees a single click.

More specifically, when the input focus is in a window on the second monitor and I click on something in the main monitor, the first click is actually eaten and there is instead a highlight on the Citrix Workspace toolbar handle (or the "Pin toolbar" button when the toolbar is not collapsed), and that also steals the input focus. I need to click again to change the input focus back to the monitor I clicked in.

I tried to find an option to disable this behavior (maybe even disabling the toolbar altogether) but I could not find it. Is this a known issue?

I am running Citrix Workspace 2505 on an up-to-date MacOS Sequoia (15.5) on a M3 MacBook Pro, with 2 external PC monitors via USB through a dock.

Not able to use full display on multiple monitors

My colleague have mini Mac at home and he is trying to use citrix work space on 3 monitors in full screen mode; however, the full screen only stays for few minutes and then switch back to single screen. Hello,

I am having problems with some Option+number key combinations when I am accessing my Windows office computer from my Mac through Citrix Workspace.

I have problems with number keys 2, 4, 7, and 8. Every other key is working as expected. When I hold down the Option key and keep pressing these numbers, I get the following results:

Citrix Workspace Build: V22.11.0.12 (2211), native to Apple Silicon

When I installed Workspace, my keyboard was all jumbled up and I had to set the language to Swedish through Terminal, but once that was done everything else returned to normal, except these 4 keys that are working inconsistently, albeit producing the correct characters at least.

My keyboard setting are as per the screen shot below:

Does anybody know if I can do something to fix this? Or if I can file a bug report somehow? I couldn't find any other option other than posting here.

	Thanks in advance!

	Dear community,

just discovered that since Citrix Workspace 22.08.1, a superfluous "Welcome to Citrix Workspace" message pops up after each login on the relevant clients (our clients are running Monterey, usually 12.5.1). It's slightly problematic, since users of our company start pasting addresses there, which doesn't work - they should simply log in though the browser and the downloaded .ica-file, as always (since Citrix is hosted on premise, etc.). If they paste in our store address and try to log in, they receive an error: "This store is not available. Retry or contact support." (Error message was translated from German, btw).

Does anyone know how to get rid of this - so not esp. the login error, but the "Welcome" message?

Just to clarify: I don't mean, preventing auto-start; in fact auto-starting Workspace in the background, makes sense in our environment.

Regarding the "Welcome"-message, I didn’t find anything directly in the settings (so the GUI-settings), but haven't played with the Citrix preference files / MDM configuration profiles yet. We do deploy Workspace through our MDM (Jamf Pro), so I suppose I can theoretically push preferences this way (or have Jamf execute a script, which adapts the prefs with the logged in user account, or similar)… I never had the need to do so, until now; in fact it'd be best, if things could remain this way, but ok ?

I’ll check out the documentation on manipulating preferences with Jamf Pro as soon as I find time, and will post it here if I'm successful; but in the meantime, I'm very curious about hints.

Best regards
Michiel

We are experiencing a lot of citrix crash issues on Mac devices. 2 situations :

	1. We are working inside citrix and all of sudden it logs us without any error message nothing.

	2. We lock our mac and after 5 minutes we unlock the mac and the citrix logged us out. We also changed the lock screen settings on mac but this behavior did not change.

	macOS Sequoia 15.2

Ever since I've upgraded to some of the later versions of the Citrix Workspace App, I have found that it rarely disconnects from my remote session cleanly. I always have to end up force quitting the Citrix workspace.

	* I connect to my remote work PC at the start of the day, and leave it connected for several hours.

	* When I click on the 'disconnect' button it will hang and freeze up. I have to force quit the citrix app

	* If I try to exit out of the session by just quitting the application using the red dot at the top of the window, it will also hang and freeze up.

It is very frustrating as the app does not behave well. On occassion, it will exit cleanly, but that is normally due to some external event causing me to lose my connection, and not from me initiating a disconnection.

	Can someone help fix this.

I'm using the recent Citrix Viewer App (2301) on a brand new Mac and I'm having a high input lag using it in windowed mode.

	My specs are:

 MacBook Pro 16" 2023

 Apple M2 Pro

 32 GB

 macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)

A high input lag means that typing takes up to 2 seconds to be reflected in the client. Also mouse clicks have this kind of lag. The lag is sometimes shorter sometimes longer.

What is really strange is that when using the light client in the Browser (HTML-5) or using the Viewer in Fullscreen mode the lag does not apply.

Using the light version is not an option due to an issue with the wrong keyboard layout. Using Fullscreen is also not an option as I have to use other apps on the host in parallel.

I already tried the following solutions to sort things out:

Switching Firewall on/off - no difference

 Using Wifi/LAN - no difference

Using mobile hotspot - no difference

Using different network - no difference

Using the Viewer window on different Screens (MacBook, Thunderbolt-HDMI, USB-C) - no difference

Using Intel/ARM version of app - no difference

I have tried also on my old MacBook with the following specs:

 MacBook Pro 16" 2019

 Intel CPU

 16 GB

 macOS Ventura 13.2

Using the Viewer in windowed mode feels like working locally - no input lag.

I'm really confused about the situation. It seems like the Mac is treating the windowed mode of the app differently causing these lags.

I'm using a 16" MacBook Pro, running Sonoma 14.3.1 and Citrix Workspace 2311. I've been having 2 issues:

	1. When I plug my laptop into an external monitor I often have to resize the screen back to full screen. The same occurs when I unplug the monitor.

	2. Citrix will put my monitors to sleep upon plugging and unplugging. It will also cause my Mac to freeze which will require a reboot several times per week.

I'm using the High DPI option.

I also have an 16" M1 MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.6.5. Since switching to the High DPI option I will get the 1st issue described, but never the 2nd.

I've also tried the beta software on the M3 MBP with similar issues.

Using Citrix Workspace 2204 to connect to a Windows session. With the Viewer in Fullscreen the mouse coordinates seem to be incorrect, with the actual mouse position registered by Windows being above the mouse pointer shown.

As example, trying to right-click the Windows taskbar at the bottom should bring up the taskbar context menu, but it actually brings up the desktop context menu. Moving the mouse over the context menu also shows the highlighted menu entry to be slightly above where the mouse pointer is drawn.

The issue only appears in Fullscreen: using the application in Windowed mode the mouse position is registered correctly. This makes the application unusable for me.

Furthermore, by trying to download the earlier version 2203 I noticed that the page wrongly provides the 2204 version instead: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/legacy-receiver-for-mac/workspace-app-for-mac-latest-2203.html:

Ctrl-left(right) shortcuts act as they are supposed to on Mac. However I would expect them to work in a remote windows session by moving a cursor word by word in a text document. And other shortcuts also doesn't work. Ctrl-Pause/break(I don't have a full-sized mac keyboard. Instead I press Ctrl-Fn-Esc), print-screen and so on, and so forth. Is it somehow configurable? I have to use a USB-redirected PC keyboard.

Citrix workspace Version: 23.11.0.67 (2311) on Mac Sonoma 14.3.1 does not work properly with multiple monitors. In my case laptop + 2 external monitors. It shows all 3 screens in a single window. Only temporary workaround is to disable the feature "Displays have separate spaces" which still have some issues with the menu bar, but is the only way I can work for now. Please advice of this problem, and when an update may be available.

	Hi there,

First post here, so please let me know if there is any additional information that you need.

We have a on-prem Virtual Apps and Desktop solution, its a relatively simple one with a single session host, single a ADC Netscaler appliance that manages the connection.

	Users connect to a single URL, regardless of location;

	https://server.companyname.com

Internally, the firewall is configured for NAT loopback, allowing users to connect to the internal resource, and externally it points to the External IP of the netscaler.

This works 100% of the time for all windows users, and a Mac that is running Intel processor.

	However...

We have a strange issue whereby the two devices that have a silicon chip fail to launch the session, and you get the attached error (img1)

You can hit 'OK' and sign in and it will come up repeatedly.

If we then connect onto these devices using our remote agent (Datto RMM) it works instantly.

This seems to happen both internally and externally, so we are somewhat confident it's not a 'network issue' and it's fine for all windows10/11 devices and on the intel based Mac.

I can also test remotely, if I join the VPN, It sometimes fails, if I then disconnect from the VPN, rejoin it then works...

It's sporadic too, no pattern, no firewall deny logs detected etc.

Firewall is a Watchguard M290, for reference.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

	Seems a similar issue here;
