An logon analyze shows APPX- LOAD PACKAGE uses long time as you see in the attachment. From the second login is login time normal again. Some users are reporting that their sessions randomly freeze while working. Everything becomes unresponsive mouse, keyboard, apps and they have to force-close the session or even reboot the local machine to get back in.

This doesn’t happen to all users, and there’s no clear pattern. It can happen in the middle of typing an email or just sitting idle. We’ve checked for resource spikes on the host and nothing looks unusual. We’re using Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2203 LTSR on Windows Server 2019.

There are no obvious errors in the event logs either, and it’s hard to reproduce on demand. We thought it might be a display driver issue or something related to the session graphics, but we haven’t been able to confirm that yet.

Thanks in advance.

Load balancing Web Studio

We have set up the Web Studio load balancing following the instructions (https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/install-configure/install-core/load-balance-studio.html).

Once we have set up the load balancing and hit the URL we're getting to a page that shows the following dialog (URL redirects to /citrix/studio/orchserver-error):

In the browser trace I can see a request being sent to the Controller specific URL (https://controller.domain.dom/citrix/orchestration/api/techpreview/ping/status), and it fails as the installed certificate is not trusted.

I can get to the web studio, but I need to enter my load balancing FQDN to the Alternative Delivery Controller -field, which is understandably a step we would like to avoid especially for the frontline support staff. If I enter the LB FQDN to that dialog, I can observe in the browser trace that the status query hits the LB FQDN URL instead (sth like https://lb-studio.domain.dom/citrix/orchestration/api/techpreview/ping/status) that has a trusted certificate.

I've recently been having a problem where some VDAs are no longer registering.

The VDAs restart every night and work for hours until the problem occurs.

The Citrix Health Assistant also indicates that it cannot register the VDA. "VDA Registration failed - VDA Machine Domain Membership."

DNS and domain membership are fine. I've already recreated the computer account.

If I'm correct, the problem only affects VDAs from a specific delivery group, where the machine catalog and the delivery group have a 1:1 relationship. Each machine catalog is assigned to a specific delivery group. I've attached the log and a screenshot.
